We introduced the new tournament system at the St. Patty’s Day Tournament in Austin, hosted in partnership with AMSA (Austin Men’s Soccer Association) and ACSA (Austin Community Soccer Association). This was our first live rollout, and the results were better than we could have imagined..

No more spreadsheets or confusing sign-ups. With MatchDay, captains can register their team right inside the app in less than a minute.
You can:
- Name your team and choose your 3-letter ID
- Select jersey colors
- Protect registration with a password
- Choose between full team payment or individual payments from players
Everything is streamlined and synced in real time.
💸Flexible Payment Options
Captains can:
- Pay the entire team fee up front and receive a discount
- Or allow each player to pay their portion directly in the app
The app handles the logistics. No one’s chasing teammates for Venmo payments or doing math in a Notes app.
📊 Live Brackets and Standings
The best part? Real-time tournament visibility. MatchDay updates standings and brackets automatically as results come in.
Key features:
- Group standings with W-D-L, goals for/against, and points
- Dynamic brackets that auto-refresh after each round
- Detailed matchup previews with team names, rosters, and field assignments
Players and fans can follow the action live without needing to refresh a webpage or squint at a PDF.
Personalized Dashboards for Every Player
Each player gets a personal dashboard showing:
- Their next game (time, field, opponent)
- Past match results
- Team stats and division standings

Community-Driven and Tested
We partnered with AMSA, ACSA to make our first tournament a reality. The event hosted multiple divisions and drew dozens of teams from across the city.
